The minimum legal limit for tyre wear is 1.6mm across the central 3/4 of the tread. Although tyres worn below 3mm will not have enough grip when cornering or braking heavy and are therefore more likely to aquaplane!
We can supply premium tyres such as Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone,- Pirelli, Goodyear & Dunlop; midrange tyres such as Hankook, Avon and Firestone and cost effective budget tyres can also be supplied such as Landsail, Accelera and Primewell.
We can also provide a laser wheel alignment check (tracking) once your new tyres have been fitted, ensuring your tyres do not wear prematurely. Also checking your tyre pressures regularly will reduce tyre wear and improve fuel economy.
